Cancellation Policy for Monthly Members
Monthly memberships have no minimum contract.
However, cancellation must be given
in writing before your next membership due date.
Cancellations
must be sent to admin@buckbyhealthandleisure.co.uk or submitted via
your Clubright membership account.
This rule applies to
all members, regardless of: how long you have been a member, your
payment method (Direct Debit, card, invoice, etc.), or how often you
use the facilities.
If no cancellation request is received
before the due date, your membership will automatically continue and
the next payment will be charged.
Buckby Health &
Leisure is billed for all active memberships through our system. For
this reason, failure to send a cancellation email means we must
continue to charge you as we are charged ourselves.
By signing up, you confirm that
you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions,
including the cancellation policy.
General Terms and Conditions
• Members must be 15 years of age or older.
• You must comply with all posted Rules of Membership.
• You confirm that you are in good health and able to exercise safely. Notify staff immediately if your condition changes.
• Please return all equipment to the correct place after use.
• Be respectful to other gym members at all times.
• Report any broken equipment immediately.
• No muddy footwear or work clothes in the gym.
• Buckby Health & Leisure is not responsible for personal property brought into or left at the gym.
• We reserve the right to close all or part of the gym for maintenance or emergencies. Where possible, notice will be given.
Payments
For Monthly Members:
• Your first month’s fee will be collected by Direct Debit or Card Payment on either the 1st, 8th, 15th or 25th of the month depending on the date you sign up. Any remaining days will be charged as a pro-rata payment.
• Failed Direct Debits will be re-attempted up to 3 times. After 3 failed attempts, an invoice will be issued and must be paid immediately.
Failure to pay outstanding balances is not an option and will be pursued through the correct procedures.
For Annual Members:
• Annual fee must be paid in full on signup by debit/credit card.
• On renewal, an email will be sent with updated pricing. If you do not renew, your details will be removed from our system.
Class Memberships and PAYG Classes
• Class memberships include all classes in green on the timetable.
• All classes must be booked via the website or Clubright app.
• Pay-as-you-go classes require advance payment. No refunds are given for missed or un-cancelled classes.
• Cancelling within 2 hours or failing to attend will result in being charged and banned from the following week's class.
Day Pass Terms and Conditions
• Day passes can be purchased via the website or Clubright app on the day of intended use only.
• Each person may purchase only 1 pass per day. Passes are non-transferable and non-refundable.
