Cancellation Policy for Monthly Members
Monthly memberships have no minimum contract, however cancellation must be given in writing via either the Clubright membership comms on your account or via email to firstname.lastname@example.org
Failure to do so will result in membership still being charged via either Direct Debit, Card Payment or Invoice.
In agreeing to the membership, the member agrees to pay the monthly payments regardless of any irregular or non-attendance on their part.
General Terms and Conditions
Members must be 15 years of age or older.
You must agree to comply with the Rules of Membership which are listed below:
You agree that to the best of your knowledge and belief, you are in good and not knowingly incapable of engaging in exercise. You must only undertake such exercise if it would not be detrimental to your health, safety, well-being or physical condition. You must advise us immediatly should these circumstances change.
Please put all equipment back in the correct place after use.
Be respectful to other gym members.
If any equipment is broken during use, please notify a member of staff immediately.
No muddy footwear or work clothes in the gym.
Buckby Health & Leisure will not be responsible for any personal property you bring with you or leave at the gym.
There may be occasions where we have to close all or part of the gym. We will do our best to let you know of any such closure in advance unless the problem is urgent or an emergency. We will take all reasonable measures to ensure that any such closure is kept to an absolute minimum.
Members Terms and Conditions
This agreement commences once you have signed up through www.buckbyhealthandleisure.co.uk
You will be entitled to the right and privileges set up for the type of membership you have chosen and purchased.
You cannot transfer this agreement to anyone else.
You will be required to download the Clubright app to your mobile device and scan in and out of the gym on every visit.
Screenshots of QR codes cannot be used to sign in, these update every 30 seconds and need to be scanned live from your Clubright App.
The QR code associated with your account to gain access to Buckby Health & Leisure must only be used by you. Should we find that anyone else has been using your account to gain access, we reserve the right to cancel your membership with immediate effect.
On sign up an up to date photo showing your face will be required along with an email address on taking out a membership.
Please ensure all sections of the sign up form and par-q are completed.
For Monthly Members
Your first month's fee will be collected by Direct Debit on either 1st, 8th, 15th or 25th of the month depending on the date you sign up. Any remaining days will be taken as a pro-rata payment by debit or credit card . For example, you sign up for a single monthly membership with classes at a cost of £35.00 per month, on 26th of the month. Your payment of £35 will be taken from your account by Direct Debit on 1st of each month and a one-off payment of £4.60 will be taken immediately by debit or credit card which is for your membership until the end of the month.
If your Direct Debit is unsuccessful, our system will attempt to ask for the payment up to 3 times. If after the 3rd time we are still unable to take your fee and a card is stored, payment will be attempted via this method.
If payment still fails, Buckby Health & Leisure reserve the right to cancel your membership and an invoice will be raised for the outstanding amount which will be sent via email and post for the outstanding balance to be settled.
For Annual Members - Your annual fee will be collected by debit or credit card, immediately upon sign up to a membership. On renewal, an email will be sent advising of renewal date and price. If you chose not to renew, your details will then be removed from our system.
You agree to keep your 'Clubright' profile information up to date.
Class Memberships and PAYG classes:
Class memberships include all memberships in Green on the timetable available via our www.buckbyhealthandleisure.co.uk and our Facebook and Instagram pages.
All classes must be booked via the website or Clubright app.
Pay as you go classes will require payment upon booking and no refunds will be given for classes not cancelled.
Failure to notify us of your wish to cancel a booked class or cancellation via the app within 2 hours will result in payment for the class being requested and a ban on the following weeks class will be in place. This includes Class Memberships.
Day Pass Terms and Conditions:
Day Passes are available to purchase via our website as a PAYG or the 'Clubright' app, and must be purchased on the day you wish to gain entry to the gym.
Registration through the Clubright App and a profile and par-q must be completed before entering the gym.
The Day Pass agreement commences once you have signed up and entered the gym.
Day Passes are subject to 1 pass per person.You cannot transfer this daily membership to anyone else or transfer it to another date.
Day Passes are non-refundable.
